Meet Shaheen Ghafari

Shaheen Ghafari is the founder of Elume Medspa. She opened the practice in Fairfax, Virginia in 2009 and has owned and run it ever since. Seventeen years later, many of the people who walk through the door have been coming to her for a decade or more.

Elume is deliberately a small practice. There is no rotating roster of injectors and no upselling script. You see the same licensed team from your consultation through follow-up, and they would rather talk you out of something than sell you a result you were never going to get.

Her Approach

Our licensed team takes the time to look at your skin in person before talking about treatments, explains what a given option will and will not do, and is straightforward when the honest answer is that you do not need anything yet. A consultation is a conversation, not a sales appointment. You will sit down with a member of our licensed team, talk about what is bothering you and what you have already tried, and they will look at your skin in person before recommending anything. If a treatment is not right for you, or the timing is wrong, they will say so.

If you decide to go ahead, they will walk you through what the treatment involves, what recovery looks like, and what it costs before anything is scheduled. Pricing is discussed openly, and current Morpheus8 pricing is published on the site.
