West on Route 50, under the Beltway
From the middle of Falls Church the drive starts on North Washington Street, turns onto East Annandale Road, and picks up Arlington Boulevard, which is Route 50, for most of the distance. Route 50 passes under the Beltway and becomes Fairfax Boulevard as it reaches the old town grid, with Blenheim Boulevard a short turn off Main Street. Could I do this inside a lunch break?
For a short injectable appointment, often yes, provided you travel outside the afternoon peak. Eight and a half miles each way plus the appointment itself makes for a tight but workable ninety minutes. A first consultation and a treatment on the same day will not fit.
